Lansdowne Condo Interior Design
PROJECT LANSDOWNE
Highlights include: (kitchen, dining room, bathroom, living room)
This condo was designed for a young couple having a hard time visualizing their space, making the right finishing choices, and deciding how to style their condo knowing that this would not be their forever home. We needed to keep in mind that this was going to be an investment and focus on the resale potential of the condo.
We were able to attend their design centre meetings with Minto and helped them decide which areas to invest in and where to save in terms of upgrades. We knew they wanted something fresh and modern including bright white and grey tones. We decided to save on the standard shower wall tiles, and upgrade the kitchen counters to quartz.
We came in once the build of the condo was finished and added a beautiful fireplace tile from Euro Tile & Stone. We helped the clients select furniture, and added pops of greenery that really helped the place feel fresh and provide warmth within the home. The clients fell in love with the table and chairs from Restoration Hardware so we decided to splurge on those and accessorize through great avenues like Homesense. Our save and splurge mentality helped us provide that warm homey feeling without draining the bank. We believe in buying carefully selected pieces you fall in love with, and having a story that’s personal to you, which takes time. It’s important to merchandise in a way that the elements you invest into are the right choices that will work with other things down the line.
